CodingPlan or TokenPlan?

Choose based on usage frequency, model coverage and billing units.

Updated 14 October 2026 · Maintained by Vectide

Compare CodingPlan for regular use of a specific model, and TokenPlan for variable usage across models. Both can be held together; the dashboard determines actual coverage and deductions.

Choose for your workflow

  • For daily coding with a fixed model, compare both the 5-hour and weekly limits before monthly price.
  • For switching between model families, inspect the shared plan’s exact ID list. A multi-model plan does not include every catalog model.
  • For variable workloads, measure a small real workload in the dashboard before estimating a token budget.
  • If client compatibility is unclear, use the free tier when eligible to validate a basic text request before choosing a paid period.

Estimate the units separately

200 million token credits do not promise 200 million output tokens. Model multipliers and billable usage details affect deductions. An agent can also make several API requests for a single user task.
